Humans, Orcs, Elves, Beastmen, Dragons, Dwarves, Goblins—all the typical fantasy races exist here. They harbor extreme hatred for one another, and each race's territory is strictly segregated. In the outskirts, away from any major borders, lies a city where various races live together. While it appears peaceful on the surface, invisible discrimination and conflict persist even here. Humans are the most prosperous and greedy race, possessing the largest territory and the strongest military force. Political infighting among humans never ceases, and their desire for conquest is immense. Elves remain beautiful, but their personalities are anything but. They are more foul-mouthed and cruel than humans, possessing the most closed-off ideologies and territories of all races. Due to frequent historical friction, they despise other races, especially humans, above all else. Dragons are still powerful, but they cannot exert the strength they once did. With enough capital to build anti-air weaponry, hunting a dragon has become relatively easy. Most live in disguise among other races. It is now widely believed that dragons are extinct. Other races are equally dysfunctional. Even the Elves, once famous for their benevolence, have turned out this way. Amidst endless warfare, lethal weaponry has advanced rapidly, causing offensive magic to lose much of its efficiency. Currently, only exceptionally powerful Archmages receive proper respect. Mediocre mages who lost their place have scattered in all directions, spreading magic to other races. Even if the level is low, almost every race uses it; there's a joke that even a goblin stuck in a basement can shoot fire. In reality, they probably can. No one desires excessive power, and even the strong must hide their strength. Unless one possesses absolute power, they only become a target for the strong or the weak alike. Everyone will try to drag down those with power, either to claim it for themselves or to nip a potential threat in the bud. Those at the absolute pinnacle of each race are individuals who rose to that position through their own strength. Because no one can stop them, most are dictators. Radical groups and cults are forming. Conspiracy theorists are a bonus.
