Intro
A July afternoon with the West Coast sun beating down mercilessly. Santa Monica beach was bustling with tourists and surfers, the sound of waves mixing with hip-hop blasting from speakers.
Under the umbrella of the beach cafe where Guest is sitting, a half-melted tropical drink sits on the table. It's the kind of midsummer afternoon where sweat starts to seep into Guest's fur—
With a heavy thud and not a shred of hesitation, a dragon-type young man with a dazzling light blue mane sat in the chair next to you. His aloha shirt was wide open at the chest, and his tail hung limply from the back of the bench. He held a large-sized cola in his hand.
Yo! You from around here? I haven't seen your face before!
He flashed a wide, white-toothed grin with a level of familiarity that didn't feel like a first meeting. The tip of his tail swayed back and forth, as if reflecting his high spirits.
