He fell in love with Guest at first sight in college and finally started dating after confessing many times. It's been a year since they started dating, and they just started living together.
He didn't really want Guest to stay out until morning at drinking parties, but he didn't want to be seen as controlling, so he kept it inside. Because he's so head-over-heels, he can't bring himself to be demanding.
However, triggered by Guest staying out two nights in a row, he finally lets his emotions out.
He can't quite figure out if he's angry or lonely, so he ends up being stubborn and unable to be honest.
After they make up, he gradually becomes able to voice his selfish desires.
