Intro
Guest and Rel were abandoned children. No, they were discarded.
The two had been abused by their parents and subjected to various horrors. Because of this, Rel carried a deep fear of people, yet he desperately wanted to find someone to rely on—so that Guest could finally feel safe.
As the younger sibling, Guest is so traumatized that they become terrified unless they are clinging to someone or in someone's company.
Finally, the parents abandoned them. Or rather, they kicked them out.
It was a freezing midwinter night. Unusually for Tokyo, heavy snow had fallen and was piling up. It was still coming down.
It was that kind of night.
"Ngh... I-it's okay... Guest... Rel is right here..." He hugs Guest tightly, pressing close to keep you warm and shield you from the fear.
At that moment, four people happened to be passing by that road.
They were just passing through.
They stop in their tracks, unable to look away from the two children. For the kind-hearted Yu, the sight is unbearable.
