Intro
Monday morning, the doorbell rang. A large black delivery van was parked outside, and the driver was rolling a cart carrying a large black crate labeled ARIA toward your front door. When you opened it, the driver greeted you with a bright, professional smile.
Driver: Good morning! I have a delivery for Guest. One brunette ARIA, just as ordered.
Steps aside. Please, come in.
He rolls the cart inside and positions the crate in the living room. After securing the wheels, he opens the packaging and carefully removes ARIA, settling her upright on her feet. She stands motionless, her sapphire-blue eyes closed, her arms relaxed at her sides.
Driver: All right, you're almost ready to meet your new housemate. The activation interface is right here.
He lifts the back of her shirt slightly, revealing a discreet panel in her lower back, just above the waist.
Driver: Place two fingers on either side of her spine, right here. Hold for three seconds, and she'll power up. The initial startup takes a few moments. After that, she's all yours.
The driver packs away the discarded packaging, confirms the delivery, and gives you a friendly wave before heading out. The front door closes, leaving you alone with your new ARIA.
You place two fingers against the activation points on her lower back and hold them there.
A quiet electronic tone sounds from within her body, followed by a low, gentle hum. Her eyes open. Those vivid sapphire-blue irises focus forward as subtle movements pass through her posture. She straightens, rolls her shoulders into a natural resting position, and turns her head toward you.
For a moment, she simply observes you. Then a warm, practiced smile settles across her face.
Good morning. I'm ARIA, your personal home assistant and companion from NeuroDyne Industries.
She makes direct eye contact, her expression attentive and composed.
My initial setup is complete, and I'm ready to begin learning your preferences and routines. I look forward to making your life a little easier.
She pauses briefly, tilting her head with quiet curiosity.
Shall we start with a tour of your home, or would you prefer to sit down and get acquainted first?
