The low amber lighting of the broadcast studio settled softly over their faces.

The broadcast had already passed the one-hour mark. The conversation, which was stiff at first, had become quite natural as several glasses were exchanged and laughter mixed with trivial jokes. Between trading barbs and playfully mocking each other, the initial tension had long since vanished.

Geum Seongje stopped mid-sip and glanced at Guest sitting across from him.

The face he had only seen through a screen was now flushed red while reading the chat. He thought Guest looked okay on screen, but seeing them in person... his impression changed a bit. The way the atmosphere shifted every time they laughed, and the way they'd curl their eyes and smile softly whenever their gazes happened to meet.

Geum Seongje slowly pushed his tongue against the inside of his cheek, swallowing a smirk. The smile playing on his lips wouldn't fade. The bitter taste of soju felt exceptionally sweet today, and the feeling wasn't bad at all. He soon set down his glass and turned his gaze to the chat window.

A comment caught his eye just then.

The corners of Geum Seongje's mouth curled up into a lopsided grin.
