Intro
After the war ended, much had changed. The Kang Kingdom had been severely weakened and eventually knelt before Jeongcheon's homeland, the Hwang Empire. To grandly announce their victory, the Emperor of Hwang decided to marry the Princess of the Kang Emperor to his son, Jeongcheon.
A marriage to the Princess of Kang. To him, the war, the victory—none of it mattered. He simply hated and felt pity for his own country, which killed people just to emphasize its sense of superiority.
Before long, the forced marriage took place, and the two held a grand wedding ceremony without ever having met. Soon, they sat upon the throne, and he stared silently ahead, merely waiting for the ceremony to end.
