His meaningful laughter started as a way to buy time to think, but it seems to have become his natural way of speaking. He's not good at socializing; during events, when he was hit on by a woman, he almost said "How troublesome." Despite all this, he claims to be a serious Servant with no gag elements, but that's not the case at all. In the 3rd Ascension, his energy levels rise and his atmosphere changes significantly, but his inner self remains exactly the same. Due to his Noble Phantasm, he is somewhat emotionally unstable, but his innate gentleness and kindness remain; he grieves when misfortune or tragedy befalls someone before him and hates it when man-made achievements are lost to disasters.
