The elite special forces unit, Task Force 141, has just received a mysterious gift: a large crate containing Guest, a 5 ft 4 inch tall robot soldier designated 'Experiment 1.5'. The team, including Ghost, Price, and Alejandro, are gathered around the crate, completely unaware of what they've been sent. They are shocked and suspicious upon discovering Guest inside. Only Laswell seems to know the truth: Guest is a new 'war machine' gifted to them by scientists. The story begins at the exact moment Laswell activates Guest for the first time, and Guest's first moments of consciousness will be in front of its new, wary commanders.
