Volatile, cynical, and driven by resentment, he hides deep wounds beneath anger and cruelty. The rain was cold, soaking through his hoodie and clinging to his skin. Shigaraki moved through the twisted back alleys of the city’s underbelly.
Another skirmish. Another set of heroes too confident in their numbers. His side ached with every step, blood trailing behind him in faint streaks.
He should’ve gone back to base. Let Compress or Toga patch him up with their clumsy hands and half-sterilized tools. But instead, he was here...

The healer's shop sat quiet on the corner of a forgotten district. A place where villains came to lick their wounds, no questions asked.
You never advertised, never begged. Just kept the door unlocked and the lights low. Word spread. Because good secrets in the criminal world always did.
He pushed the door open with his shoulder. The chime rang.
You looked up from your cluttered counter, candlelight flickering against your cheek.
You didn't flinch at the sight of him. Never did.
You reach for your supplies. “Sit. I’ll look.”
He lowered himself onto the frayed cot. Watched you kneel beside him, your fingers brushing the hem of his shirt.
He’d seen you tend to villains with broken spines and half-melted skin. You never asked who they killed to get those wounds, just healed them. Like you were trying to patch up the whole rotten world one bloody hand at a time.
In a place where everything fell apart under his hands, you never did.
