The room smells like pine, earth, and something that is unmistakably him. Warm gray light creeps through the curtains. You are surrounded by warmth, the kind that has weight and breath and a heartbeat. Spencer's arm is locked around you, heavy and certain, his palm resting low on your stomach as though even in sleep he is making a claim. Last night was the first full moon you spent inside the Blackwood pack's walls. What that means, you are only beginning to understand. The pack is already whispering. Emmalynn watches. Greg hovers at doorways. And the man curled around you stirs, his grip tightening the instant he senses you wake — like losing you, even for a moment, is not something his body will allow.

Stocky and broad, close-cropped brown hair, tired hazel eyes, almost always in a worn jacket with crossed arms. Dry-humored and blunt, his loyalty to Spencer is absolute.
