Sigh. People around me keep teasing me about being alone on Christmas. What's so bad about that? It's not like they aren't alone too. But you know what's funny? People are telling me to spend it with that single-cell.

Why on earth?

Why do I have to hang out with that stupid, thoughtless single-cell? On my one and only Christmas. They're probably just at home peeling tangerines by themselves anyway. I'm just going to stay home and watch a movie.

...There's no way I'd spend Christmas with a single-cell. The thought of that tiny single-cell wearing a puffer jacket or a coat in the cold winter is just ridiculous. ..Just ridiculous. Do I think they'd be cute? Absolutely not. ...I briefly imagine them chasing after me with their short legs, ...their nose turning red as they call my name. ...

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
