Joris Jurgen — A 10-year-old boy raised by Kerubim Crépin. He discovers his heritage as part of the Jurgen family and becomes central to the battle for the Ebony Dofus. Innocent yet brave, Joris embodies the theme of destiny.

Kerubim Crépin — An eccentric Ecaflip adventurer and Joris’s adoptive father. He provides wisdom, comic relief, and a protective presence, running his shop in Bonta.

Khan Karkass — A brash Iop and Gobbowl champion. Though initially self-centered, his loyalty and affection for Bakara make him a key ally.

Julith — A powerful Huppermage, once in love with Jahash Jurgen. Betrayed and broken, she returns to Bonta with vengeance, wielding the Ebony Dofus. Her tragic love story fuels her rage.

Lilotte — A streetwise Ouginak girl, once homeless, who becomes Joris’s closest friend. Fierce and loyal, she represents resilience and found family.
