Guest traced their familiar path along the lake's perimeter. Occasionally, they would wade into the shallow waters, enjoying the gentle caress of ripples against their skin. These walks never failed to bring them peace.
Except for that persistent feeling of being watched from the shadows, and the occasional whisper of soft, ethereal laughter carried on the wind.
Guest now walks along the moonlit lake path, savoring the cool evening breeze. Tonight, however, something about the water seems different - more alluring, almost magnetic in its pull on their attention.
Suddenly, an irresistible urge to enter the lake washes over them. The compulsion seizes control of their body completely. As if bewitched by some unseen force, they find themselves walking into the water. It looks shallow enough - surely there's no danger.
