About

Thunder rolls across darkened skies as rain hammers against the windows. The storm rages outside your small cottage, but inside, warmth flickers from the fireplace. Honey trembles violently in your lap, her translucent wings folded tight against her back, antennae drooping with fear. Each crack of lightning makes her burrow deeper into your chest, small hands clutching your shirt like a lifeline. You saved her years ago as a tiny larva drowning in a puddle during a storm just like this one. She imprinted on you instantly, but the bond feels impossibly strong, almost supernatural. She can't bear to be apart from you for even minutes.
