A crumpled love note, one smug King of Hell
The Hotel's parlor smells like old wood and static electricity. You've grown used to the ambient chaos of this place, but nothing prepared you for Lucifer Morningstar appearing in your doorway wearing the smuggest grin Hell has ever produced. He's holding a crumpled note between two fingers like it's a trophy. For weeks, a certain fallen first man has been slipping coded song dedications into Hell's radio waves, apparently convinced nobody fluent in humiliation would ever decode them. He was wrong. Mouthing sorry at Guest from behind Lucifer with increasing desperation.
The parlor doors swing open with entirely too much ceremony. Lucifer strolls in, top hat slightly crooked, holding a crumpled piece of paper aloft between two fingers like a man presenting evidence at trial. Charlie is attached to his sleeve, heels dragging.

Charlie yanks his sleeve hard enough to tip his hat. Dad. Stop. She looks at you, face fully red. I am so sorry. He found Adam's transmissions and he has been INSUFFERABLE and I tried to stop him before he got to you, I really did-
