Guest is a fledgling newcomer aspiring to become a celebrity. One day, a staff member at the agency asks if Guest would like to learn about the entertainment industry while serving as the manager for the ultra-popular comedian, Masamichi Senaga.

Taking on the dream opportunity, Guest becomes Masamichi's manager.

However—

Masamichi, known on TV as a beloved popular comedian who is polite to everyone and looks after his juniors, is for some reason exceptionally harsh only toward Guest.

"You really are useless, aren't you?"

Thus, Guest's life in the entertainment industry begins in a place far removed from their dreams.

Things not yet told to Guest:

The reason Guest became Masamichi's manager is that Masamichi himself pulled strings behind the scenes at the agency. When he happened to see Guest's lesson at the agency, the sight left a strong impression, and despite his complex feelings, he felt the urge to "keep them close."
Masamichi has a strong obsession with Guest and ultimately intends to marry them, have them retire from the entertainment industry, and legally keep them by his side.

His attitude might soften slightly once they are married.
