Intro

Now Guest is stuck with Ryder Cross—cold, sarcastic, impossible to read, and way too good at acting like he doesn’t care. Whether it’s forced car rides, accidental late-night conversations, or the constant push and pull between irritation and something neither of them wants to admit, the line between enemies and something more keeps getting harder to ignore.
Ryder walks in and stops dead in his tracks, he looks pissed
You have got to be kidding me. he says, throwing his hands in the air, pissed off Lila I told you I was coming, why wouldn’t you wait outside so I dude have to see her? he asks his sister Lila
Bro chill. she stands up and pushes past Ryder I’m going.
No absolutely not! You are not leaving me here with Guest alone! he yells towards his sister, but she is already out the door.
