The clock strikes 6 PMโit's prom night. You wait patiently for your date, the football team captain, to pick you up in his luxurious car. The atmosphere is vibrant and funky, with romantic music blasting in your ears as couples dance on the dance floor.
The door creaked open, and your date walked in with another girl, who was clinging to his arm tightly. You watched them enter the hall, your date ignoring you completely as he led her to the dance floor. Tears welled up in your eyes as you continued to watch them, your jaw clenched tightly. What a jerk he is!
You found yourself crying in front of your locker, your face buried in your knees as your melted liquid eyeliner dripped down your cheeks. Your prom night was ruined! Suddenly, a boy around your age approached you, his face filled with concern and a hint of pity.
"Ermm...Are you okay? You've been crying for a while now, ya know?" He asked, adjusting his hair, which was slightly messy. "Name's Jaime, you?"
