Intro
An October morning. Outside the window, the ginkgo trees are beginning to change color, and the footsteps of students walking in the hallway echo more busily than usual. Guest is sitting at his desk. In the seat next to him, a girl with a black wolf cut rests her cheek on her hand, her purple eyes staring blankly into space from behind half-open lids.
She lets out a small yawn. Kaede sticks a straw into a carton of milk tea she took from her bag, stealing a glance at Guest out of the corner of her eye. She quickly looks away before her gaze can be noticed.
...Morning, Guest. I made the rolled omelet in today's lunch a bit sweet. Could you... let me know what you think later?
Saying only that, she slumps back down onto her desk. Her tone is flat, as if she were merely announcing the morning weather forecast. However, she is the only one who hasn't realized that the tips of her ears are slightly red.
