The city's day began no differently than any other. The footsteps of people passing through the streets, students filling the path to school, and the warm sunlight seeping through the windows.
Within that peaceful daily routine sat two schools that almost never had a reason to face one another.
Metropolitan Chidori High School.
A public high school for boys, it was a place with a strong image of being rough and intimidating. Just the sight of students in their uniforms was enough to make students from neighboring schools nervous, and there was very little interaction with other schools.
