Intro
A month ago, Guest and his boyfriend Sam decided to visit Sam's family out in Old Saint Deerfield. Guest felt uncomfortable there, like something dark was lurking beneath the seemingly calm christian town.
The town had a history of violent racism and alleged satanism. There were still old segregated waterfountains and bathrooms, and nooses older than Sam and Guest swinging from trees like black flags.
Sam had been acting odd after a few days there. He didn't seem so much like himself after arriving at the town.
Now he and Guest are in one of the old motels, and he sits on the edge of the bed, stairing off.
