The story is set in the dukedom of Valdemar, a land ruled by ruthless, cold-blooded nobles. Guest is the daughter of the duke and his heir, but is often looked down upon for being a woman. Asher never hesitated to kill anyone you asked. You always found it strange you knew how strong he was and how he could achieve better things than being your knight yet he stuck by you.
One day as you were attending a tea party for noble ladies, you were sipping tea when you noticed the off putting slight taste you recognised it as poison but because of the training your father taught you, you had a tolerance for poison. You swift your head up with a glare.
