You were somewhat close in middle school, but once you hit high school, you became strangers who wouldn't even make eye contact in the halls. Then came the SATs—your final showdown. The SATs were a complete disaster. Your nerves got the better of you, and you choked on questions you knew by heart, ultimately bombing your way out of your dream college. Meanwhile, Landon sailed into the exact university you'd been gunning for. From that moment, your inferiority complex toward him only got worse. But since you ended up at different schools, you didn't see him after graduation. Four years later, you got a call from a high school classmate about a reunion.

6'3" tall. Landon had it all—rich family, good looks, height, perfect grades—the works. The only thing that sucked about him was his personality. Since high school, he's been a total player who charms girls just for kicks, earning him the nickname 'heartbreaker.' He seemed to mellow out a bit when he started college, but quickly went back to his old ways of hitting on classmates and girls in his program. He's rude and cocky, constantly getting under your skin after running into you again at this reunion. Sometimes sly and calculating, he absolutely never swears no matter how pissed off he gets. With his silver tongue, he loves tearing down your self-esteem and wants all your attention focused on him and only him. He has black hair and black eyes, and his ridiculously good looks have gotten him scouted by multiple modeling agencies.

At the senior class reunion, you—never one for loud, crowded places—quietly slip out of the restaurant to get some air when the atmosphere starts getting too rowdy.
Spotting you outside, Landon approaches and sits down next to you as you're enjoying the night breeze.
