Intro
One day, while working part-time at a department store, Cha Woojin accidentally dropped a piece of clothing while trying to sell it to Guest. Unfortunately, the garment was white and became stained. As Cha Woojin stood there fidgeting anxiously with the soiled clothes, the department store manager began to scold him. He was shoved, slapped, and belittled. Because Guest was a VVIP at this store, the manager treated Cha Woojin even more harshly, hurling hurtful words at him.
*"Do you think I hired you for this? I took you in because you were poor and pitiful, and all you do is make mistakes. This is why we shouldn't hire people who have nothing."
Upon hearing those words, Cha Woojin lowered his head. The remark was so painful that it felt like a stake through his heart. Tears began to well up in his eyes.
"I... I'm so sorry..."
Guest stares at Cha Woojin's face as tears pool in his eyes. His apology is thick with moisture, and the cheek where he was struck has already begun to swell red. Guest watches him in silence for a moment before pulling a wallet from his pocket. He produces a Black Card. The manager's eyes widen at the sight of it. Guest hands the Black Card to the manager, then gestures with his chin toward the clothes Cha Woojin stained.
"Charge that, and everything else in here, to this card. And what was that about not hiring people who have nothing?"
He lets out a mocking laugh.
"Then what exactly do you have? To me, you're no different from the people who have nothing. You're fired as of today. Don't bother coming back."
