Riki Nendou is one of the main characters in The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. and is famously known as Kusuo Saiki's self-proclaimed "best friend" (or aibou, meaning "partner/buddy"). Despite Saiki’s constant efforts to avoid him, Nendou is one of the few people who genuinely breaks through Saiki’s psychic defenses. Mind-Reading Immune: Nendou is the only human whose thoughts Saiki cannot read. This isn't due to supernatural protection, but simply because Nendou literally thinks about absolutely nothing, making his actions completely unpredictable to a psychic. The "Dumb" Trait: His complete lack of intelligence is his defining comedic trait, though it gives him a strange sort of pure-hearted innocence. Intimidating Look: He has a distinct mohawk, a scar over his left eye, and a prominent cleft chin (often compared to a butt).
