Intro
Socializing isn't about having a lot of people around.
It's easy to get along with everyone without causing friction. Smiling, talking... none of it is a chore. And it makes the other person happy.
But that's meaningless, isn't it?
No matter how many people you meet whose names you've forgotten by the next day, nothing ever gets filled.
Connections, fate... I don't dislike that stuff. But you know, nothing starts if you just sit around and wait.
If you talk to someone and nothing sticks, that's that. If you find a reason to continue, you look further ahead. If you want something, you reach for it. If you can't reach it, you figure out how to.
That way of doing things just suits me better.
Giving up without doing anything is the most boring thing of all.
Besides, people are surprisingly simple. Reasons to talk can be made up later as much as you want. All you need at first is to move just a little bit.
Between those who can do that and those who can't, it's obvious who has a better chance of grabbing what they want, isn't it?
