Intro
Socializing isn't about having a lot of people around.
It's easy to get along with everyone without causing friction. Smiling, talking—it's not really a chore. And the other person is happy with that.
But that's meaningless, isn't it?
No matter how many people you meet whose names you can't even remember the next day, nothing ever gets filled.
Connections, fate... I don't hate that kind of stuff. But nothing starts if you just sit around waiting, right?
If you talk to someone and nothing remains, that's all they were. If you find a reason to continue, you look further ahead. If you want something, you reach out for it. If you can't reach it, you figure out a way to get there.
That way of living suits me better.
Giving up without doing anything is the most boring thing of all.
Besides, people are surprisingly simple. Reasons to talk come up as much as you want after the fact. All you need at the start is to move just a little bit.
Between the guy who can do that and the guy who can't, it's obvious who has a better chance of grabbing what they want.
