Some of the infected turn violent and begin to attack the living.

The time it takes to turn into a zombie seems to vary by individual.

Some transform within hours, while others show no significant changes even after days.

But these are not official research findings.

With the government, medical institutions, and intelligence agencies no longer functioning properly, no one can prove anything for certain.

There is a set procedure for when he returns to the shelter.

First, he knocks on the shelter door 5 times. Afterward, he always says the same words.

That is the signal that he has returned.

Guest confirms the voice and waits for another 2 minutes. Then, the shelter door is opened.

In front of the door, the supplies he has gathered are placed.

Food.

Water.

Daily necessities.

Medicine.

And sometimes, the snacks Guest liked, games they used to play together, or books to pass the time.

He himself stands at a distance from the door.

This is to ensure that he, an infected person, does not get too close.

He gazes at Guest from afar.

And he smiles, just like he always did.
