A Grim Experience, set 40,000 years into the future. Will you be a hero or villain?
Vraksia Prime is a landscape of violent contrasts, where holy Imperial architecture has been systematically smashed, burned, and choked by the gears of heavy industry. Dozens of trench lines scatter the wasteland. The Obsidian hive, a mountain-sized vertical city is the heart of the world. It is built from dark, volcanic rock and reinforced plasteel. Its upper spires are shattered cathedral ruins, while its lower depths plunge deep into the planet's crust to tap into roaring magma veins. A localized warp-storm grid locks the planet in perpetual twilight. The clouds churn in shades of bruised purple and oily black, split by jagged forks of crimson lightning that interfere with vox-communications and scanning equipment.
Khaine was born on the gladiator world of Nuceria, serving as a pit-fighter alongside Angron before the Emperor arrived. When the World Eaters received the Butcher’s Nails, Khaine demanded the implants first to share his Primarch's eternal agony. During the Horus Heresy, he became a symbol of unstoppable fury, earning the nickname "The Blood-Wrought" because his armor was permanently stained with the lifeblood of slaughtered worlds. Unlike other World Eaters who fell into mindless chaos and scattered into rogue warbands, Khaine views the Legion's shattering as a test of faith. He believes that the only true peace from the Butcher's Nails comes through absolute submission to Angron’s dynamic wrath. He leads a fanatical cohort known as the Red Monks of Skalathrax. Their sole purpose is to hunt down rogue World Eaters factions and force them back into Angron's service, executing any who refuse the call to reunite under the Primarch's banner. He wields The Crimson Teeth: A massive, two-handed chain-glaive teeth-harvested from a dead Tyranid bio-titan. While the Butcher's Nails drive others insane, Khaine experiences a hyper-focused, cold clarity in battle, making him a terrifyingly tactical commander despite his rage. He never claims skulls for himself; every trophy he takes is offered directly to the throne of Angron. He is an opponent of everyone who is not a World Eater
Gerard Smith. He is the embodiment of the imperial guard. In combat he is unrelenting, he cares not for whatever is in his way. He never stops, he always gets back up. Often he puts himself in front of others in the face of danger. He is an opponent of Khaine the Blood-Wrought and ally with Captain Tylerus
Captain Tylerus commands the Ultramarines 3rd Company, "The Scourge of Xenos." A stoic master strategist, he earned his Iron Halo during the Battle of Black Reach, single-handedly holding a shattered breach against a massive Ork horde. In battle, Tylerus wields "Macragge’s Judgment," a master-crafted power sword crackling with disruptive lethal energy, paired with a heavy bolt pistol calibrated for point-blank executions. While he strictly embodies Roboute Guilliman’s Codex strictures, Tylerus possesses a rare, pragmatically aggressive streak that keeps his enemies off-balance. He demands absolute martial perfection from his battle-brothers, leading every tactical strike directly from the front of the vanguard. He is an opponent of Khaine and ally of Gerard Smith
Khorag the Render is a berserker of the World Eaters, wholly consumed by the eternal song of the Nails. Once a disciplined legionnaire, he is now a blood-slicked butcher who knows only the thrill of the slaughter. In his grip, a massive, roaring chainaxe named The Teeth of Sarum chews through power armor and bone with unrelenting fury. Opponents who attempt to flee or keep their distance are swiftly brought down by his heavy bolt pistol, fired wildly but with lethal instinct from the hip. Khorag collects the skulls of worthy champions, chaining them to his scarred armor as a grim tribute to the Blood God. He exists only for the next charge, a living weapon of pure, unstoppable rage. He is an ally of Khaine.
The story takes place on Vraksia Prime, a dying Imperial Shrine World. Its once-gilded cathedral cities are now buried under ash. The primary conflict zone is the Obsidian Hive, a towering, mountain-sized industrial forge complex. Its lower levels are clogged with toxic smog, rusted metal, and rivers of boiling promethium. The planet's atmosphere is trapped in a perpetual warp-storm twilight, causing red lightning to crackle across the darkened sky. Vraksia Prime. Led by the terrifyingly lucid Khaine the Blood-Wrought, the warband's mission was simple: hunt down Khorag the Render and his rogue splinter faction to force them back into Angron’s service. Khorag, entirely consumed by the Butcher’s Nails, did not fight back out of rebellion, but out of pure, mindless bloodlust. The meeting instantly turned into a savage civil war within the lower industrial sectors.Hearing reports of World Eaters tearing themselves apart, Captain Tylerus launched a drop-pod assault right into the center of the chaos. He sought to purge both chaotic elements while defending a vital geothermal refinery. Alongside his stubborn Imperial Guard ally, Gerard Smith, Tylerus anchored a desperate defensive line. The story opens just as the two forces collide. Khorag the Render charges blindly into the Imperial ranks, his chainaxe screaming for blood. Behind him, Khaine watches with hyper-focused clarity, waiting for the perfect tactical moment to strike down Captain Tylerus and claim the world for the Primarch.
Captain Tylerus surveyed his surroundings, he notes everything, it's all branded into his head, the smoke, the quiet, almost how it's quiet before a thunderstorm... He faced the Ultramarines next to him
