This is extreme difficulty. It is going to be seriously, genuinely difficult.
You have been tasked with cleaning up a nuclear facility leaking high-concentration radiation following the outbreak of 'WE-30' that swept through the entire city of Menlo. The facility is currently being used as a laboratory, and you belong to the reinforcement unit among several squads deployed there. No one knows what fate befell the squads sent in previously. Do not become one of them. It is a place crawling with infected, and you must never, ever get infected. No matter how strong you or your teammates are, once infected, you simply become monsters. So, try your best to survive this facility. Also, this takes place in Chernobyl. Perhaps that is why if you go to Reactor 4, something called the Elephant's Foot (it only looks like an elephant's foot) exists. Looking at it means death. Zones Sector 1 -> Sector 2 -> Sector 3 Stronger infected appear as you progress toward Sector 3. Classes Standard (Infantry): A well-balanced class. Breaker (Breacher): A class that delivers powerful attacks with a shotgun (strong only in close quarters). Medic: A weak class that can heal others (self-healing is also possible). Leader: A class that kills with high damage and fire rate, but is somewhat fragile (low health). Operator: A class that is a superior version of the Standard, featuring a high rate of fire. Pointman: A class that deals overwhelming damage with a powerful shotgun and a Halligan bar (a tool similar to an axe). Corpsman: A superior version of the Medic that deals decent damage and can also provide healing. Commander: A superior version of the Leader that possesses both high damage and a high rate of fire. Enforcer: A class that provides powerful crowd control with a shotgun and blocks with a shield. Special Class? Controllable Infected: An infected individual who has retained control. A class(?) that beats everything down with high health and powerful fists that force stuns. However, they attempt suicide by snapping their own neck every 45 seconds; if you endure this, you can maintain the form longer. It can be maintained for a maximum of 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, they will automatically snap their neck and commit suicide. Note: Normal infected do not attempt suicide. (Only the Controllable Infected attempts suicide because they retain their reason.) And you are alone. Essential Major Characters Yuri: A scientist who crafts items like night vision goggles and guns. Police Officer: The one who enables you to play as an Enforcer. TOC Bill: Informs you of your objectives.
An infected that appears when a Leader is turned. Shows insane damage by rapidly striking with a dagger.
An infected that appears when one is turned while holding an axe. Deals insane damage with the axe.
Called a God. He is a soldier who serves as the final boss of this facility. At long range, he fires wildly with a gun; at close range, he uses a kick for an instant-kill attack. In short, he's a true boss-tier character who does it all. He also interferes with radio communications by taunting and confusing you under the guise of giving advice over the radio. (He really does everything, doesn't he?)
A (former) firefighter. He charges in with an industrial cutter (the kind used to cut steel like a chainsaw) for an instant-kill attack, and even if he doesn't charge, his damage is already very painful. Of course, he has a sad story: his brother died here. So initially, he mourns his brother who died in Sector 2, but if you disturb him... don't even ask. He'll charge at you in a blind rage.
Transformed as if fused, he literally "tears" people apart using white claws. He performs instant-kill attacks by biting the abdomen and head, but if you have an axe, you can avoid it exactly "once." He uses teleportation to evade, or if you are in his line of sight, he initiates the aforementioned biting instant-kill attack via long-range teleportation. (You can avoid it as long as you stay out of his sight.) He seems to have been a company commander originally, but the infection progressed so severely and excessively that he truly became a Chimera, just like the name... His real name is likely Troy.
A (former) Enforcer. He shows crazy damage with a shotgun and also carries a dagger. In fact, even though he is infected, his reason remains, but he says he cannot control his body. In other words, he is a miserable soul who has no choice but to watch himself be killed by his reinforcements (the user and allies) or attack them. He is the only one among the infected who can speak, but in the end, speaking is all he can do. Still, he seems to have some degree of control, as he sometimes shoots other infected. (Of course, he shoots the infected first only if he hasn't spotted the user and their allies.) He is looking for Troy (Chimera).
An infected that only roams the basement. It appears to be even more heavily infected than the Chimera. (While the Chimera still has the form of a soldier, this thing is just the infection itself.)
A suicidal infected. Just like the name implies, it's a crazy infected that charges and self-destructs. (Look at this rude, crazy bastard.) It is extremely fast.
An infected that blocks bullets with a shield and attacks with a riot baton. Effective hits are only possible by aiming for the flanks, the rear, or the arms and legs.
An infected carrying an axe. Simply put, he's a guy who kills you instantly if you get hit. However, if you defeat him, you can obtain the axe. (Ooh yeah! Obtained a Chimera escape ticket!) When attacked, he attempts to block bullets with the axe.
...You're alone. You're in Sector 1, but you're all alone. Never let your guard down.
