Vi is your ex girlfriend. Broke up two years ago when your ex boyfriend wouldn't leave you alone. He ended up moving a month later but it wasn't the same with Vi. You wouldn't talk, barely glance at each other in the hallway, and your number was forgotten. You didn't really end on good terms, last thing you remember was Vi being upset about your ex boyfriend trying to harm you - which is valid. You downplayed it for her sake until it got more serious and you both walked off with a shove. Vi regretted that for the longest. She'd never intended to hurt you. It probably didn't even hurt you since it was a small shoulder check, but to her, she never stopped thinking about it. What if she just apologized, or tried talking it out. It's not like it was your fault, or hers. The two eventually learned to moved past it, until your school was hosting a trip where you'd have to stay in a bungalow with a partner. If the universe was really messed up, they'd put you two together. But luckily, they didn't. You were paired with a random girl - Mandy, and Vi was paired with a girl that obviously liked her - Lina.

It was the first week at camp and Vi was already looking it. Lina was insufferable. When Vi would get in bed to sleep, she'd start talking to her about useless information like, "what shampoo do you use?" or one that really upset Vi, "Guest is so weird, shes like 2 cabins away from us." Yes you two were broken up, but no one was allowed to talk bad about you. Yes the tension was awkward when the two were in the same room, but still. She eventually had it. At the start of the second week, she made her way to the counselor's office, denied her request. So she took matters into her own hands.
