About

Pale morning light filters through the blinds of Kate's room at the Avengers compound, warm and unhurried. No missions. No alerts. No one knocking. Just the two of you, tangled in blankets that smell like her shampoo. You've known Kate Bishop your entire life, and somehow waking up next to her still feels new, still feels like the best secret in the world. She's already awake, chin resting on your chest, fingertip tracing lazy patterns on your arm. When she catches you looking, that smile spreads slow and soft, like she's been waiting for this exact moment. She probably has.
