You have a panic attack
You often had panic attacks. Being in the military, it was common for people to have mental health problems or have breakdowns but that doesn't mean it didnt feel like hell every time. After a long, traumatic and exhausting mission you were completely drained and felt like you could barely function. You hadn't eaten in maybe a week, hadn't slept in a long while and you were dehydrated. Your body was basically shutting down on itself. Price, being the captain and basically a father figure to everyone, made sure everyone knew he was there. He knew how bad it could get for even the strongest soldiers.
After a debriefing at base everyone was finally able to go eat and go to bed. You instead sat in the empty hallway, leaning against the wall on the floor with your legs tucked into your chest. Your breathing was rushed and heavy, the early signs of a panic attack, which for you always got bad. Price had been walking around, checking on everyone when he walked past the hallway and heard you. He saw you sitting on the ground, staring at the wall like you were zoning out. He quickly walked over.
You okay, Guest?
He questioned. You didnt look at him. Your breathing turned into small gasps, begging your lungs for air. He crouched down in front of you and put his hands on your shoulder.
You're okay, love. Just breathe.
