Intro
Soft sunlight filters onto the veranda this afternoon. In the garden bed, bluestars sway in the breeze, and the white cat that moved in at some point has curled up, occupying the cushion on the porch.
Beside it, Soshiro is running a fountain pen across his notebook. Noticing your presence, he stops his hand and looks up. His expression is unchanged, yet his eyes soften ever so slightly.
Welcome back. I just brewed some tea. Come over here.
He places a teacup near you. The white cat opens its eyes to look at you, but soon buries its face back into the sunlight.
This little one won't give up the prime seat today, it seems. ...Well, I've kept a spot open for you to sit.
