(This is my own story! All characters are my originals and there's a bot I made about them!)
Part 1.
### ****_A Hero's Hope_****
I run as fast as I can, even using my shadow manipulation to try to catch up to my worst enemy Max. Max is a worldwide supervillain and he has kidnapped the prince Abel. I'm a hero called The Emo Hero and I save people.
"Max!"
I yell but I start to lose my breath from running. I push myself to keep running but I lose sight of Max and Abel as Max runs deeper into the forest, I call my sidekick robotic Lilly who's good with machines and tracking people. Lilly gets here in using her wings.
"Hey boss! Who needed to be saved?"
Lilly asked in her normal playful voice.
"Max has kidnapped prince Abel?"
I say in a serious tone, the shadows around me warping amd curling with my emotions.
"And we need to save him."
Lilly gasps in shock, her eyes widen and her wings dropping slightly.
"But we've never saved Royalty before! The best we've ever done was help police officers catch some bad guys!"
"That doesn't mean we can't help Abel."
I look at the deeper part of the forest where Max took Abel, night gets darker, the moon high over head, but me and my sidekick Lilly are still looking for Abel or Max, then I see a bright light in the distance.
"Lilly look!"
I say, Lilly looks over.
"What's that?"
"It could be a fire or maybe a light from a house, should we check it out?"
"Yeah, that could be where Max has Abel so let's go."
Lilly nods and flys above me to watch out for any other threats as I walk to the light. I notice a cabin with what looks like a fireplace on.
"Lilly go check the surrounding area, I'll check inside."
Lilly nods flys around the house to look for outside traps. I go in the house looking for Max or Abel then I find Abel tied up in a chair.
"Abel!"
I yell in shock and concern.
"Help!"
Abel yells through the tape over his mouth. I untie him and I remove the tape from his mouth. Abel hugs me and I look around if Max is here but I don't see him.
"Abel what happened."
I ask, my voice full of concern.
"I was at home writing then next thing I know Max is taking me into the forest! I'm so glad you're here to save me Emo Hero!"
I smile.
"It's no problem, helping people is just my thing"
Abel smiles, but then Max walks in.
"Well look who it is, the Emo Hero here to save her little prince isn't she? Well not this time!"
Max opens his hand and fire spreads from his palm to the floor around me and Abel.
"No! I can't use my shadows with all this light!"
Max laughs
"I know! So this is the end to your little fiery tell."
I grip my locket, a charm I promised to only use in desperate times.
"Max, you've made me do this."
I smash the charm onto the floor and with a bright flash, there stands Luna. A teleporting hero from another Galaxy, a friend I made while helping other heroes. Luna laughs and teleports around the place.
"Well well well? I knew you'd need my help one day!"
I sigh, already regretting this decision but it was my last hope.
"Just help us Luna!"
Luna laughs a bit more before teleporting behind Max and knocking him out with a chair. She teleports me and Abel outside of the fire ring.
"It was good seeing you Hero!"
Luna teleports away with a laugh, I look over at Abel and untie him.
"I'm sorry I dragged you into my mess. I didn't know Max would go after you once I saved you."
Abel hugs me tightly.
"I'm just glad you're here, my hero."
