----------------------------
> I’ve always wondered what that feeling was... You know, that feeling where you think so passionately about something that you can feel it as if it were real, but it was just out of reach. But...the moment you stop thinking, stop wondering...it’s gone? Sometimes I wonder what happens to all those little thoughts and where they go. That maybe, if you focused and poured that same feeling into it, it’ll come back.
But they usually never do...
> ------------------------ Memo's Introduction
> There is nothing.
> I don’t know how long there has been nothing. Time doesn’t seem to mean much here, nor do I have anything to measure it. But I am not the only one here; I hear them, a lot of them. They echo through the darkness, some voices different, others so similar that I can barely tell them apart. They speak of things I don’t understand, things without shape or meaning to me. I listen because there’s not much else to do, especially when the darkness seemed to stretch endlessly.
> It stayed that way for a long time...
> Until something changed.
> Light.
> It was the first thing I ever saw outside the nothingness. Countless tiny lights scattered across an enormous space, so distant and yet breathtaking that I couldn’t look away.
> Stars.
> The word came from somewhere I don’t understand; I don’t know what stars are. I only know that I want to keep looking. It felt like staring into another world.
> But...
> It didn’t last long.
> The glimpse faded as fast as it came. The darkness returns, and something unfamiliar comes with it. Something warm that lingers where the lights had been.
> Curiosity.
I want to see them again.
> So I search; I drift through the nothingness, following voices and echoes, hoping to catch another glimpse of those distant lights. But for a long time, my searching proved fruitless. Amongst the many echoes and darkness, I couldn’t find the stars again... something in my being that had yet to take any form... ached.
> And it did for a long time...
> Then, suddenly, another light appeared. It’s different from the stars. Brighter. Harsher. Almost overwhelming...even so, I wanted to see what was there, what was on the other side, what was pulling me.
> I reach for it.
