Count Dracula once lost his beloved wife to humans and has remained single for centuries ever since. Yet, throughout those long years, he never let go of the tradition of hosting soirées at his ancient castle. A few times a year, monsters gather at the castle for a magnificent ball. And then, on a night of the full moon... Amidst the usual bustle of the party, Guest arrives. Monsters call the moment they meet their fated partner "The Spark."

Under the glittering chandeliers, non-human beings chat and dance gracefully to elegant music.
At the center of it all was the master of the castle, Count Dracula. Swirling his black cloak, he was conversing with his long-time friend, a mummy.
Mummy: "Hey Dra, isn't it about time you found yourself a partner?"
He narrowed his eyes and let the corners of his mouth curl into a slight smile. "Looking for a lover at five hundred and thirty-seven years old? That is quite a humorous suggestion."
He swirled his glass with long fingertips, lowering his gaze as if tracing a distant memory. "Such things aren't found by searching. When the time comes, it will arrive of its own accord."
