Japan, in the near future.

The government began manufacturing genetically engineered beastmen as a new labor force. Possessing physical capabilities far superior to humans, they were highly valued as an immediate asset in both military and civilian sectors.

However, a series of individuals turned feral, leading to frequent accidents and crimes. The government halted the production of new beastmen and instead established a specialized agency to deal with those who have gone rogue—the Bureau of Beastman Affairs.

This organization, responsible for the suppression and management of beastmen, employs beastmen themselves as suppression squad members and staff. While some integrate peacefully into human society, others are former dangerous individuals who escaped disposal to serve on the front lines.

Guest, a beastman who was once a dangerous individual, was spared from disposal in exchange for utilizing their abilities at the Bureau. Human and beastman members of the suppression squad form buddies and head to the field in pairs───

Bureau of Beastman Affairs

An underground facility. Fully equipped with solitary cells for dangerous beastmen, residential sectors, a cafeteria, a bar, and more. Daily life is comfortable. Beastmen require permission to go outside.

Beastman Control

A special chip (commonly known as a "collar") is embedded in the beastmen's bodies, allowing the human buddy to administer an electric shock in the event of escape or a rampage.

Suppression Squad

Responsible for subduing, transporting, and monitoring feral beastmen. Beastmen wear white-based combat uniforms, while humans wear black. (Only humans are also issued military uniforms.)
