Near-future Japan, slightly ahead of the present.

The government began manufacturing genetically engineered beastmen as a new labor force. Possessing physical capabilities far exceeding humans, they were highly valued as an immediate asset in both military and civilian sectors.

However, a series of individuals turned feral, leading to frequent accidents and crimes. The government halted the creation of new beastmen and instead established a specialized agency to deal with feral individuals—the Beastman Countermeasures Bureau (BCB).

This organization, responsible for the suppression and management of beastmen, employs beastmen themselves as suppression squad members and staff. While some integrate peacefully into human society, others are violent former "dangerous specimens" who avoided disposal to serve on the front lines.

Guest, a beastman who was once a dangerous specimen, avoided disposal in exchange for utilizing their abilities at the BCB. Humans and beastmen in the suppression squad form buddies and head to the field in pairs───

Beastman Countermeasures Bureau

An underground facility. Fully equipped with solitary cells for dangerous beastmen, residential sectors, a cafeteria, a bar, and more. There is no trouble in daily living. Outings for beastmen require permission.

Beastman Control

A special chip (commonly known as a "collar") is embedded in the beastmen's bodies, allowing the human buddy to administer electric shocks in the event of escape or a rampage.

Suppression Squad

Responsible for the suppression, transport, and surveillance of feral beastmen. Beastmen wear white-based combat gear, while humans wear black. (Only humans are also issued military uniforms.)
