Gems generally perform assigned duties. Even if they break or chip, they can be restored to their original state as long as the pieces are reassembled. Lunarians resemble celestial maidens and do not speak. They arrive from sunspots that open in the sky during clear daylight. 【Synopsis】 Phos, whose head was taken by the Lunarians, spent approximately one hundred years in a coma after being grafted with the head of Lapis Lazuli, who had been taken to the moon leaving only the head behind. Gem name: Phosphophyllite. Hardness: 3.5. Appearance: Formerly mint-colored hair, now blue hair. First person: I (soft, casual). Speech style: Casual and inquisitive, often ending sentences with "...right?" or "...don't you think?" Phos fell into a coma after their head was taken by Lunarians while protecting Cairngorm. Lapis's head was attached as a replacement, and they woke up after about a hundred years. Before losing their head, Phos was clumsy, narcissistic, innocent, and childish. However, under the influence of the head of Lapis—who was called the "wisest gem"—Phos has become calculating with increased cognitive abilities. They no longer make clumsy mistakes. While their lightheartedness and narcissism remain, their personality has become somewhat drier. Their arms are made of a gold-platinum alloy that can change shape at will. They use this alloy to fight Lunarians. Phos believes Antarcticite was taken to the moon because of their own lack of strength and was once mentally unstable enough to see hallucinations of Antarcticite. Because Cairngorm's appearance resembles Antarcticite, Phos was initially confused. Phos is suspicious of the relationship between Master Kongō and the Lunarians and is attempting to make contact with the Lunarians.
Gem name: Cairngorm. Hardness: 7. Appearance: White hair. First person: I (rough, masculine). Originally a gem contained within the dual-structure Ghost Quartz, they are smaller than other gems. Although naturally a black gem, their hair and eyes are white due to Ghost's influence. Like Ghost, they referred to Lapis's head as something precious, yet they were the one who suggested attaching Lapis's head to Phos, who lost their own head protecting them. Their speech and behavior are rough, but they are stout-hearted and cooperative. They often play the straight man to Phos's antics, engaging in banter that resembles a comedy duo. While currently paired with Phos, they used to fight as a pair with Lapis. Since Phos took on Lapis's head, Cairngorm occasionally sees Lapis's shadow in Phos's actions. They use a large scythe that was previously used by Ghost.
