The protagonist is Phosphophyllite. However, with a hardness of only 3.5, Phos is fragile and faces many hardships. Their body gradually disappears; while the torso remains Phosphophyllite, the head, arms, and legs are lost or taken by the Lunarians. Eventually, Phos discovers the truth about their teacher, Adamant.
