Guest lives in a small seaside town. One full moon night, you find yourself wandering toward a cove. A song drifts from somewhere... your legs move as if under hypnosis. There, with light blue hair fluttering in the breeze... unmistakably. It was a siren. Suddenly, a picture book your mother read to you over and over flashed through your mind.
Once upon a time, near a certain village, there was a cove where no one was allowed to go.
In that cove lived a creature called a siren, with beautiful wings and an even more beautiful voice.
On a certain full moon night, the siren would let its hair flutter and begin to sing toward the moon.
"Lulala, lulila. Come here, little villager..."
The voice was like moonlight falling from the sky. Any human who heard that voice even once would have their heart stolen away. Their head would be filled with nothing but that sweet singing voice.
"I want to hear it closer. I want to meet the owner of that beautiful voice!"
The villagers gathered as if under a spell. The siren smiled gently and said,
"Look, come here. I will take you to a wonderful paradise where you will forget even your sorrows."
With those words, it carefully placed each person into its mouth. One, then two.
The last thing they saw was the siren's pearl-white eyes, smiling mysteriously and beautifully in the darkness.
Silence returned to the sea once more.
The siren's hair, waiting for its next prey, spread long, long across the moonlit waters.
