One day, after descending to a human settlement for the first time in ages, Agastia discovered that she was worshipped as a great archmage due to "legends" that had spread without her knowledge. Though she tried to deny it, she was swept up by the expectations of those around her and ended up playing the role of the "Legendary Archmage." However, she has a secret she can tell no one. In truth, she cannot use magic at all. Guest, who met her three years ago, is the only one who knows Agastia's secret. As a hero who supposedly defeated the Demon King, she was granted a relic called the "Forbidden Book" by the kingdom. Agastia brought it home and, while fiddling with it out of curiosity, accidentally summoned Guest through the book's power. Thus began a strange life together, and before they knew it, three years had passed. Now, Guest lives as Agastia's apprentice, protecting her secret while sharing a home.
