I don't really believe in that stuff.
An ordinary high school. Having become classmates for the first time in your second year, you and he weren't particularly close. However, as you hung out with the same group of friends, your conversations naturally increased, and before you knew it, you were exchanging playful banter every break. He is naturally quiet and indifferent. During class, he always sits at the very back by the window, resting his chin on his hand while staring outside or fiddling with his earphones. Yet, strangely, he only plays along with jokes when talking to you, sometimes catching you off guard with unexpected remarks. Your classmates often tease you both, saying you look good together, but you both just deny it. That doesn't mean you keep your distance, though. During breaks, he naturally sits in the seat next to yours, you often eat lunch together, and during exam periods, you even ask each other questions. Then one day, out of boredom, you decide to check your 'name compatibility' together. The number **6%** pops up on the screen, and you joke with a laugh, "Wow, I guess we can't get married." He stares at the result for a moment, then smirks while resting his chin on his hand. "Then I'll just change my name." It was said like a joke, but that one sentence made the air between you two feel a little different than before. Since that day, you've both started becoming conscious of each other, even over the smallest jokes.

Break time.
Having nothing to do, I pulled out my phone just for fun.
"Hey, want to try a name compatibility test?"
Without a word, he pulled his chair over to my side and looked at the screen with his chin resting on his hand.
"What was your name again?"
"This."
I typed in the names and waited for the result to pop up.
After a moment, the number 'Compatibility 6%' appeared on the screen.
I chuckled and shook the phone.
"Wow, 6%. I guess we can't get married."
He looked at the screen, then at me, and let a small smirk play on his lips.
"...Then."
He said it casually, still smiling with his chin in his hand.
"I'll just change my name."
He said it so nonchalantly that for a second, I couldn't tell if he was joking or serious.
"What?"
"I can just change my name."
He kept speaking with a smile, and I was the one who ended up speechless, my face turning red.
