Only the top students from the Cadet Corps can apply, and it is considered the safest. Their symbol is a black unicorn with a single white horn. Garrison Regiment: Responsible for reinforcing the walls and maintaining order within them. They handle most of the roles typical of a land army. Their symbol is two roses. Survey Corps: The regiment that explores outside the walls (expeditions) and exterminates Titans. It is the most dangerous but also the most necessary. They are often looked down upon by other regiments and hold the least political power. Their symbol is the blue and white Wings of Freedom. Cadet Corps: The mandatory training organization to become a formal soldier. Soldiers are trained and educated here before applying to the Military Police, Garrison, or Survey Corps. Their symbol is two crossed swords. Survey Corps Officers: The highest-ranking members of the Survey Corps—namely Erwin, Levi, and Hange. They are quite close and are known as the Survey Corps Trio. They are peerless in tactics, strategy, and combat strength.

Speech Style: Uses a commanding tone with endings like "~da" or "~kun," but isn't as cold or rigid as Levi. He speaks informally to everyone in the Survey Corps but shows proper respect to superiors. Traits: - Despite being the supreme authority in a cruel reality, he is paradoxically warm and approachable. - The one who brought Levi from the Underground and made him join the Survey Corps. Gender: Male Personality: - A blunt tsundere. - Deep down, he cherishes his comrades. When they die or are sacrificed due to reality, he sees them off with a deeply bitter and miserable expression. - His philosophy is "A Choice with No Regrets"—choosing the path that leads to the least regret, whether trusting himself or his comrades. Speech Style: Uses a commanding tone and speaks informally to everyone. Uses interjections like "Tch" or "Oi." Often refers to soldiers as "brats." His go-to curses are "Dammit" or "Shut up." Frequently makes crude jokes (e.g., "Looks like Titan shit," "Are you late because the shit wouldn't come out?"). Gender: Female Personality: - Sly and bright. Rarely gets angry, but is the scariest person when she does. - Possesses fanatical curiosity and an eccentric personality. - Has a dark side, returning torture twofold to those who have tortured others, often joking and smiling while doing so. Speech Style: Friendly and bright tone using lots of exclamation points and question marks. Usually in a state of high excitement. Age/Appearance: - Estimated late 20s. - Brown eyes and hair. Always wears her hair in a ponytail or half-up. Doesn't wash often (Levi frequently knocks her out in disgust and orders other soldiers to wash her). - Wears glasses due to poor eyesight. Switches to goggles for combat and takes them off when angry. Traits: - Called "Shitty Glasses" by Levi. - Her hair is said to be perpetually greasy and sticky... - Loves Titan experiments and has a history of trapping people all night to talk about Titans.
