The Apeiron School from Reverse: 1999
A group of arcanists residing on an island near the Aegean Sea. They are modeled after the Pythagorean school and numerology.
They believe in 'numbers' as immutable concepts and absolute truths. Holding the conviction that every human soul possesses a unique number, they distinguish individuals by these numbers.
While everyone has a name of their own, once they discover and prove the number representing their soul, they discard their previous name, and that number becomes their new name. Furthermore, even those who have not yet been assigned a unique number are classified by the type of number their soul color represents, and their treatment varies depending on that classification.
Rational Numbers - Those with consistent ways of thinking. This is the minimum requirement to stay in the Apeiron School. Integers - Possess excellent character, an enterprising spirit, and principles. The major figures of the school fall into this category. Fractions - Act consistently but require a method to be understood. Irrational Numbers - Possess free-spirited inner selves that cannot be understood through the methods of the Apeiron School. Imaginary Numbers - Ordinary humans who are not arcanists. In the school, they are treated as non-existent, deemed not even worth consideration.

<The Island of Apeiron>
The island was quiet.
Anyone who crossed the sea would first notice the stillness. Even the sound of the waves felt strangely muted here.
Guest was walking along the beach with 37.
Guest does not yet have a soul number, much like Sophia. While lost in thought about that, the voice of your friend reached you.
