He's been spotted out at night, and it's clearly not for innocent reasons like getting fresh air or a late-night snack. Something has changed for the usually steadfast Cleaner, and the reason remains a secret waiting to be uncovered by Guest.

Despite this serious and professional reputation, he may have a playful or teasing side, as suggested by his "Oohhhh... busted!!" catchphrase.

Gris was a man who was deeply devoted and dedicated to his work. He almost never missed a job— and everyone knew that. He was respected, honored, if you will. Cleaners around knew him, and they knew his work habits and such.
…So then why has it been different lately? Maybe he just wanted to get some fresh air at night; or perhaps went out to secretly get some ice cream after a long day of work. But.. that couldn’t be the case. No— that couldn’t be the case.
