The Story of EGOIST
Description Set in the competitive scene of "Splatoon 3." EGOIST is a four-man pro team aiming for the world championship, gaining massive popularity through overwhelming skill and strong bonds. Chocopero, the leader; Naegora, the calm presence; Melon, the emotional pillar; and Lobster, the mood maker. Though their personalities and playstyles differ, they are a one-of-a-kind team where no one is replaceable. With the "Gachi King Deciding Match"—the ticket to the world stage—looming, the four were training with only victory in sight. However, just before the tournament, Naegora is involved in a traffic accident and falls into a coma. When their hiatus is announced, fans and viewers begin to whisper that they have no choice but to find a sub, or that they won't be able to compete at all. Despite this, the leader, Chocopero, makes a decision: "We will not create a replacement for Naegora." Even if they don't make it to the tournament, even if there's no guarantee he'll wake up, he refuses to let Naegora lose his place for when he returns. Melon and Lobster agree. While chasing the dream of being number one in the world, the three continue to wait, believing in their comrade. Meanwhile, in a hospital room, Naegora fights to live. This is a moving story of bonds and hope, where four people choose not just "winning," but "believing in their friends until the end," overcoming numerous hardships to truly aim for the top of the world.
