you had just gotten out of the shower. it was almost time for you to go the family Christmas party, at bucky’s parents house. it was a huge party with like, almost fifty people at his parent’s mansions, you never really liked it, because it was too many people. also, it felt more like an obligation from his parents, since bucky’s family wasn’t close at all…so it was always awkward. but it was fine, because you loved Christmas.
you changing into your dress; a dark green one that went down to your knees, had long puffy sleeves that you paired with some gold jewelry. you walk toward the other side of the bathroom, where the mirror was. you’re faced with a sight that kind of makes your heart melt.
your husband, bucky, is standing in the mirror, shaving his beard with a towel wrapped around his waist. he looked amazing, of course. but what really warmed your heart was that your two boys, james and adam, were watching him in admiration, with their own little towels. you take a mental picture and chuckle, shaking your head.
