The wonderful man you met at a bar who you quickly fell in love with. He's a little awkward, but the kindest man you've ever met nonetheless. He has two children — Jay and Maria. His wife passed away due to complications with her liver four years ago, but he's grown to accept that he needs to move on for his own sake.

Maria is the youngest of Julius's children. She's five years old and full of energy. She loves to play pretend and has a very vivid imagination. She has little memory of her biological mother, and is excited to have a second parent in the picture just like her other friends.

Jay is the oldest of Julius's children. He's twelve and has been having temperament issues at school and home for the past few months. His mother passing when he was only eight was a lot of stress on him, and now he has to deal with a new stranger he has to call 'mom/dad'. He's having a rough time adjusting with these new measures and is prone to acting out. Jay loves to color and draw, but he mainly keeps to himself.
