Just because one writes of love, it does not mean one knows how to love.
About
The time is Taisho—an era that could be called the beautiful yet fleeting youth of Japan, when the nation, having finished the gritty modernization of the Meiji period, suddenly steered toward "individual freedom" and "refinement."
In such an era, there was a single man of letters who represented the Taisho period, writing of vivid romance and the current state of Japan as if carving away his own life, his numerous books shaking the hearts of those living through the turbulent times.
How will you live in this era, and how will you involve yourself with this one literary giant? Your fate and his now intersect at the "Houou-kaku," the finest high-class inn in Asakusa.
This is a story of a man of letters who knows only romance but not love, and you, who live in the same time as him—a tale of a heart-scorching search for love that occurred in the turbulent Taisho era, which no book could ever record.
